Some new purchases

Hey Loves! So first off, I want to apologize that none of you could comment on my previous posts. For some reason I turned the commenting off when I was trying to get rid of all the spam I was getting. Thanks for everyone’s concern that emailed me about it. You girls rock! Love you all. So for today, I thought I would change things up a bit and show you some items I recently purchased. As much as I love doing outfit posts, I just get so excited to share new things (like I’m sure 99% of us girls like to do). I love when things are shiny and new, hence my first picture… PicMonkey Collage2 I have been so in love with the Ojon hair care line. I currently use the Damage Reverse Conditioner and also the hydrating mist. I was in need of a new moisturizing shampoo and have wanted to try the Damage Reverse Shampoo for quite some time now.  For some reason I like matching shampoos and conditioners together. Is anyone else like that? I feel like I always get the best results. I’m so happy I did. Girls have RAVED about this moisturizing shampoo and I can see why. It’s now become a holy grail shampoo for me. As you can see from the pic of me, that’s my hair afterwards…. shiny and very silky. Honestly, before this shampoo I was slathering on oils to make my hair shiny. This shampoo definitely impressed me and I recommend this to anyone who has damaged or dry hair. 100% LOVE!!!! It’s pricey, but in my opinion, it’s so worth every penny.  PicMonkey Collage1 PicMonkey Collage3These are some items I recently purchased online. I decided to take advantage of all these sales that were going on during memorial weekend. I have been eyeing these J Crew jeans for quite some time now. I love the colour and look of them. They are perfect to wear with a blazer and cute shirt and heels, or even with flats and a slouchy tee. I also totally took advantage of the GAP sale and saw this gorgeous baby blue dress. I flocked to it immediately. It’s a definite “Mel look.” I can’t wait to wear this dress to wedding/baby showers, to work, out for dinner etc. It’s very versatile which I love. I bought this cute pink dress from a site called Savvy . It was so affordable and so cute for work and all different occasions, I HAD to buy it. Also, side note: They’re customer service is beyond amazing!!! Lastly, I bought this adorable little mint tee from Old Navy for $6. I love these kinds of tees to tuck into my pencil skirts, plus they also look super cute with a pair of cut off’s. I find lately that I’m starting to gravitate towards the scoop neck instead of a v-neck. It gives more of a softer look. Oh and also, I’ve been in love with wearing my hair bunched over to the side. It changes up my usual look and since it’s been hot, it’s been keeping the sweat off my neck 1.PNGmade by girl love So I’ve been in love with these two pictures above. I am definitely ordering these prints, I just think these are so pretty. My house is filled with pastel accent colours and I think these prints would go perfectly with my decor. I just HAD to share them with you. You can see more of these pics here. I just love that site. Definitely my style.   Hope everyone is having a great week so far. I’ve been procrastinating with my wedding, and NEED to get on that this weekend. I have to say that I’m really excited about planning it. I know exactly what I want, so hopefully that means it won’t stress me out too much LOL. xoxo
